DESIGNER OF TECHNICAL MOLDS
Requirements for the role of Technical Mold Designer:
- Education and skills: The ideal candidate should possess a degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a related field. In addition, you should have a solid understanding of the principles of mechanical design and CAD-CAM software.
- Previous experience: It is preferable to have work experience in the field of technical mold design. Practical experience can be gained through internships, apprenticeships or previous work positions in similar companies.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings: Must be able to interpret complex technical drawings and project specifications to create detailed mold drawings, taking into account tolerances, dimensions and required characteristics.
- Problem solving skills: It must be able to solve any design problems during the mold development process, proposing innovative and efficient solutions to meet customer needs.
- Accuracy and attention to detail: It must be able to work with precision and attention to detail to ensure that the designed molds meet the required specifications and produce high quality components.
- Teamwork skills: You must be able to collaborate effectively with other team members, such as production engineers, process engineers and customers, to develop optimal solutions and ensure successful projects.
- Effective communication: It must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with the internal team, suppliers and customers and ensure a clear understanding of the requirements and objectives of the project.
- Flexibility and adaptability: It must be able to adapt to new challenges and work efficiently even in situations with high pressure or tight deadlines.
